Notice to Ledin Photo Customers:
As of January 2006, Ledin will no longer be offering photography services. The decision to terminate the photography division was not an easy one. While we would love to continue providing photography services to our customers, the cost of doing so has become more than we are capable of. Increasing travel costs, insurance rates and equipment maintenance combined with decreased interest, sales and event size is the core of this action. A great amount of time was spent exploring our options before reaching this decision, none of which provided us an opportunity to retain our Figure Skating exclusivity.
To our valued customers, whether you purchased from us once, or every time you saw us, we look to you as the reason we were able to provide such a great service for so long. We sincerely appreciate your continued support.
This decision does come with a bit of a bright side. We are currently refocusing our time and effort towards our video division in an attempt to expand our services. While we have several projects already in progress, many more will be coming. Some things we are working on right now include: offering a DVD option at more events, allowing video orders to be placed online and creating a ‘Season in Review’ video specific to your skater. The time and resources needed to address these type of ideas and demands is made possible by the decision to terminate our photography division which required a great deal of attention from us.
We have heard comments ranging from very positive to very negative regarding this change and we would like to encourage your input. The skating community is the lifeline of Ledin and open communication, good or bad, helps us to better fill the needs of the sport and improve our services. We rely on our customers, new and old, to assist us in our mission of being the highest quality video provider in the nation, at the best possible prices.
